Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has disclosed that although he has featured many artistes on the ‘Anloga Junction’, his favourite is Keri Hilson.
He made an appearance on Joy Prime TV for his album listening which is still ongoing and during the interview part of the show, the host, KMJ asked which of the artistes he featured did ‘it’ for him.
In response, he said: “I’m never really able to answer such questions because everybody is super great but in the end, I’d say, Keri Hilson.
“Because working with women is a different movement and then working with a superstar like Keri Hilson who has seen it all, done it all. I mean I hardly thought we’re gonna be good friends but when you connect on certain levels and even the way it happened you find out that it’s divine” he added.
He also touched on how he got to this height by building a strong portfolio for himself.
“We have done a lot of work internationally and our profile is really tall. It might not be known to every single Ghanaian but for the standard, when you put it down you know the levels we’re talking when the name Stonebwoy is mentioned so these and more have opened ways for me and have made it possible for such and such people like Diamond Platnumz, like Keri Hilson herself for us to get to this point, Jahmiel, Kojo Antwi…”
He featured Keri Hilson on the eighth song, ‘Nominate’ which was produced by Grammy Award-winning music producer, Andre Dre Harris.
Aside from Keri Hilson, he also featured Kojo Antwi, Nasty C, Alicai Harley, Jahmeil, Zlatan, and Chivv all representing an ‘area’.
The album is set to be released tomorrow.
