Finally, 3Music Awards will be held this Saturday, May 2, 2020, and as earlier advertised it will only be broadcast online and on TV.
The event will come live from a location in Ghana’s capital, Accra, to audiences on Joy Prime, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and Joy Prime TV as well as partner web platforms.
These are some of the things to expect on the night.
MCs
The programme will be hosted by Naa Ashorkor Mensah Doku and Jay Foley of Multimedia Group Limited, with support from comedians Clemento Suarez and OB Amponsah.
Artistes on the bill
Artistes on the bill are KiDi, Kweku Smoke, Bosom P Yung, Lord Paper, DopeNation, Cina Soul, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, and Krymi, Mr. Drew.
Honorary Awards
Dennis of Akwaaba UK, Reggie Rockstone, and the late Awurama Badu will be given honorary awards at the ceremony.
New Plaques
Newly designed plaques ill be used for this year’s awards.
Social Impact
3Media Networks say proceeds realized from the final week of voting will be donated to Ghana’s efforts at fighting the COVID-19 outbreak.
