Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku has said he is more popular than Shatta Wale.
According to him, he has been relevant for two years while Shatta has only been known for six years.
He said this during an interview on Hitz FM with Mercury Quaye.
Mercury who was the host of the show referred to Bukom Banku as the Shatta of Bukom and its environs but the boxer did not quite get it so he replied “I’m Banku . Shatta ebe somebody name. I don’t take somebody name.”
After the host explained he was referring to his status in his area, Banku noted that Shatta Wale is nowhere near his Status.
He added that although he has been around for long, he still reigns.
“I’m no Shatta. I’m the single president in the nation. Call me a single President. The whole Ghana I’m the single president. They know me past everybody if you’re a super. They know somebody past me in this nation? 20 years popular 1999 17 August up till now people call my name. Shatta Wale be small …6 years popular.
“….till now I’m still reigning,” he added.
He further said there is no way Shatta Wale who has made his name in ‘beefing’ aside from music, will beat him to a beef.
