Member of defunct 4×4 music group, Captain Planet has cautioned social media followers to only ask him for money if they supporting his career in various ways.
He noted that he is fully available to “to support anybody supporting me.”
Fans seeking financial help from celebrities on social media especially now that the world is dealing with coronavirus pandemic has seen a surge.
It has become almost common to see fans giving out their mobile money numbers and bank accounts on live videos and on the timelines of celebrities every now and then.
While some famous persons ask for the numbers to do the ‘giveaways’ themselves, sometimes fans just try their luck.
In a tweet, Captain Planet explained he is ready to support financially only if they support his career.
“Let me be clear B4 u come to my DM asking me for money make sure u r supporting my career. Dnt come to my DM when u r supporting & hyping another dude but when it comes to money then u r all over my DM. Do i look like ghana commercial bank to u. Ask the one You ve been hyping,” he tweeted.
