Rufftown Records’ signee, Wendy Shay is not happy with how Ghanaians make comparisons between artistes especially when they make big moves that should be lauded.
Last year, Shatta Wale was featured on Beyonce’s ‘Already’ off the Lion King album and it generated talks on social media.
Fans teased artistes they perceive to be their favourite act’s competition, it also opened the flood gate to lots of scrutiny and comparisons.
End of last month, Stonebwoy also featured Keri Hilson on his new album, ‘Anloga Junction’ and same attitude was meted to it.
But when Nigerian artiste, Davido announced his feature with rapper Nicki Minaj, according to Wendy Shay, Ghanaians sang his praises unlike they did to their artistes.
