Veteran hiplife artiste, X-Doe has revealed that rapper Medikal once charged him GHS 15,000 for a feature on his song.
According to X-Doe he needed Medikal on his song to give it a feel that the younger generation can easily relate to but when he contacted the management of the ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker they demanded that amount.
“I called him several times but I did not get to him so I dealt with his management and they told me if I needed the feature, I should pay GHS 15, 000,” he noted.
He said he could not get the money to pay so he had to feature a different artiste.
X-Doe said this in an interview with Sammy Flex on his online TV programme ‘Showbiz Daily.’
He said this while they were discussing challenges old musicians go through with getting to feature new and vibrant acts on their songs.
