A few hours after Caroline Sampson announced that her contract with YFM has ended, another presenter at the station has also informed his fans that he has been sacked.
Joel Orleans, tweeted that “I just got fired from YFM.”
He has so far received words of encouragement from some fans on Twitter including rapper M.anifest who is encouraging him to be strong.
Ghana Weekend has also been informed that other presenters apart from these two have left the station.
They include DJ Mic Smith and Mz Naa.
These add to a number of resignations and termination of appointments of some radio presenters during this coronavirus period.
So far, Kofi Okyere Darko, DJ Vyrusky, Jon Germain, Naa Ashorkor, Caroline Sampson, have all left their various stations.
It has been projected that the economic scourge of COVID-19 is forcing a lot of companies including media companies to lay off some of their workers.
