Ghanaian artiste Kwaw Kese has complained about how the system is unfavorable so much so that old musicians still need to go out to entertain patrons to get money to feed themselves.
He talked about how musicians barely make money off their hard work and time contributed towards the industry.
He said he wished for the president to “pass a law that allows musicians to be paid.”
Speaking to Kobby Kyei on Instagram live, Kwaw Kese narrated an incident where he met AB Crentil and other musicians who have entertained the industry for long and in their old age should rather be entertained but were out struggling to perform.
“If the system was good, we don’t need AB Crentil to be performing again” he noted.
