Ghanaian artiste Kwaw Kese said has tagged Sarkodie as an opportunist who jumped on his hit song just to enjoy the benefits.
The singer has been trending alongside Sarkodie for calling the latter ‘fake’ artiste.
During an interview with 4sytetv, he said Sarkodie ignores his calls anytime he needs his verse on a song.
A portion of the interview surfaced on twitter this morning that generated talks from SarkNatives (Sarkodie fans).
Most of them had to remind Kwaw Kese of all the times Sarkodie featured on his songs or put him on an event.
However, in a different Instagram live interview with Kobby Kyei Thursday, May 7, 2020, he toted that Sarkordie only gets in touch with an artiste when he needs a favour of some kind but would not return the favour when tables turn.
Explaining further, he said Sarkodie only jumped on the song, ‘Dondo’ because it was already a hit and that he was not “helping”.
When Kobby Kyei asked him about the brouhaha with Sarkodie, he quizzed “Before the Dondo remix, do you know how many beats I sent him that he did not revert?”
“To me, Sark featured on Dondo because the Dondo was already a hit. It was not his feature that made Dondo a hit. so people wanted some of the glory. Mr. Eazi, for instance, he messaged me and asked to put a verse on the remix. I wasn’t the one who contacted him”
Touching on how Sarkodie got to feature on it, he explained, “His fans said they want to hear Sark on the Dondo remix. I wasn’t the one who said I want Sark. His fans did. Before that, I sent him songs that he did not reply to me.”
“There’s nothing like help. We’re doing music for the people so if you do the music, it’s not as if you’re helping me. You’re helping your fans. We’re all helping our fans,” he added.
