Rapper Medikal says the Ghana music industry is not moving forward because some artistes see art as competition.
This comes days after Eno Barony released ‘Argument Done’ which had some jabs that seem to be directed at Medikal.
Social media has mounted pressure on Medikal to reply and he claimed he was not going to reply because he was focusing on his family.
The rap battle is not something Medikal is new to. Some months ago he and Strongman took each other on for days, recording ‘diss’ songs for each other and have social media and entertainment critics be the judge of who ‘murdered’ who.
But in this case, he believes music should not be a competition.
“Some of the artistes for Ghana actually de believe say the music we dey do for this country inside be competition, that be why Ghana music no de move forward!” he tweeted.
