Ghanaian artiste Stonebwoy’s ‘Nominate’ which features Keri Hilson has made an entry to the World Billboard Singles Chart.
Nominate is the eighth song on Stonebwoy’s new album, ‘Anloga Junction’ released on April 24, 2020.
He also released the video of ‘Nominate’ on the same day as the album.
The song which was produced by famous producer, Andre Dre Harris popularly known as Dre Bombay made it to number 19 on the Billboard chart.
He was ranked according to sales, streams, or airplay, and based on the popularity of song and album in the United States and elsewhere across the globe. He becomes the first the Ghanaian to make it to singles chart.
The project which comes off the album paired with a video directed by Denzel Williams follows the Ghanaian star and the American superstar to an auditioning hall where the two musicians played a role of judges as they view samples of performance by models who are aspiring to be crowned “Miss World Wide”. The video was shot in America.
Reacting to the news, Stonebwoy took to social media to share a shot of the song and say, “Thank you world! Let’s keep pushing….sharing/streaming”
