Musician Fantana has disclosed that she lied when she told the media that Wendy Shay introduced her to Rufftown Records.
This revelation comes on the back of a fresh feud between the two acts who have been going at each other for quite some time now.
According to Fantana, she lied “so people could like” Wendy Shay but Wendy did not put all that to good use.
She added that the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker bought her followers yet she is not able to “even sell out a show.”
On Wednesday, Fantana was on Rhythmz Live with Regina Van-Helvert on Gh One and while answering a question she listed Wendy Shay as a local Champion.
Prior to the interview, Fantana had made posts talking about how female musicians are wasting time beefing each other and giving themselves titles.
She stated that only two female artistes can brag about being international and that the rest including herself are “local champions”.
During the interview with Regina, she explained Wendy is not listed as a local champion because she does not like her but because she “hasn’t really achieved anything outside of Ghana.”
Her comment did not go down well with Wendy Shay who responded in an Instagram post today saying “Some artiste can create news but can’t create hit songs. Ask how much Betplanet paid me…”
The second part of the message, she wrote in German is translated by Instagram to be: “with big teeth, you don’t do hit songs I make money and f**k y’all”
According to google translate, it means “You don’t make hit songs with big teeth. I make coal and shit on all of you”.

And Fantana came back with the clapback that Wendy is a man and that she bought her following.
She added that Wendy Shay has no hit song and that she is mad at her honest comment because her music has not crossed “Togo border.”
“This man is mad because I went to an interview and they asked me a question and I gave an honest answer… I never insulted you! Uncle Shay, as ugly as you are , you have the nerve to talk about“ I can’t make a hit song with big teeth.“ Uncle Shay.. do you have a hit song? You’re mad at me because your career didn’t even cross Togo border, or because your new song flopped? I even helped you by lying to everyone saying you introduced me to rufftown so people could like you…. and you’re still local champion like me… I’ve been doing music for less than a year… so I accept my title… but Uncle Shay , We are local champions oo😂 you spent so much time trying to bring me down, trying to make sure you ruin me , trying to stop me from becoming Fantana ! now look at you… You have million followers that you bought 😂 you can’t even sell out a show, you’re a wicked girl with an evil heart. next time watch your mouth and don’t insult me. FICH DICH” she posted alongside Wendy Shay’s pictures and response to her.
