Rapper M.anifest has said he is hoping for refined citizens post coronavirus pandemic.
Like other parts of the world, the pandemic has affected Ghana and the figures as at last night was a total of 6,096 confirmed cases, 1,773 recoveries while jobs have been affected and lots of changes have been made in some workspaces.
Some companies are running shifts while others are just working from their homes; all these measures have been instituted to curb the spread as scientists and health workers try to get a cure or vaccine.
Speaking to Bernard Avle on Citi TV’s Point of View, M.anifest noted that this is a good opportunity to develop new skills as well as work at becoming a better version of oneself.
According to him, what was before the coronavirus was not great therefore the new should be better.
“I do hope that we’re never the same after COVID. I hope we come better. I hope after going through this we’re better about how we treat each other. How we treat our bodies. You know and these are the times where our immune system has been greatest defence. How we treat the environment. How we do all of that”
“So, I hope we become better people and I hope we’ll work on that during this time. I hope we don’t lose this opportunity to become better people so I want to encourage everybody for us to just seek to be better people during these times so that we don’t come back to normal. Whatever that regular is that we want to happen, it better be a better regular because the one before wasn’t that great,” he added.
