Gospel artiste, Celestine Donkor has blamed the media for the controversies in the music industry.
This comes on the back of Patience Nyarko’s reactions to comments that Joe Mettle is the first gospel musician who comes to mind in terms of international appeal?
According to Patience, Joe Mettle only rehashes Pentecost hymns and that he does not write his own songs.
In an interview on Joy News on Wednesday, Celestine Donkor said some of the questions asked by the media only raise unnecessary comments.
She noted that they are not helping matters with the kind of questions they ask as far as preventing controversies and living in harmony is concerned.
“I really want to talk to the media who bring some of these questions that arouse all these controversies. They are also not helping matters. OB Nertey (one who started the whole controversy) is also not helping matters. I think that he is also a gospel related brand and therefore his questions should be aligned,” she stated.
She said some of the questions result in “unnecessary comments and competition,” she said.
