Media person Nana Ana Anamoah has rescinded her decision to legally take on neat FM presenter Ola Michael and the station for defamation and slander.
On Monday, Ola Michael had a guest known as Queen Mona or Gucci Mona who came to expose the “secret lives of slay queens.”
During the interview, she named Nana Aba Anamoah and made lots of claims.
However, reports say there was a possibility of a lawsuit that forced Ola Michael to render an apology in a Facebook post.
Taking to twitter May 27, 2020, Nana Aba noted that she decided not to pursue the case in court owing to the intervention of Ola’s employees.
“My attention has been drawn to an interview published and broadcast by Neat FM, a member of the Despite Group, which sought to impugn my character and person, defaming my hard-earned reputation. I have also taken note of the subsequent apology by Neat FM and their presenter,” she wrote.
“I decided against taking on the unprofessional conduct of the presenter because of the intervention made by his bosses and the respect I have for them. Let me state clearly that any blogger or media house that decides to go this route again will not have it easy with me,” she added.
She added that she will not hesitate to let the law take its cause in the future should any person or institution instrument defamation of her person.
“I accept the apology. I want to make it clear that I will not hesitate to apply the laws of the land to any person/institution who provide their platform for others to defame or slander my person,” she stated.
