Ghanaian rapper, Amerado has shared his opinion on the beef between the female artistes in the industry.
The ‘Bars Stop’ rapper stated that Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz should have done better and that beef should not go beyond speaking your mind in lyrics.
He said in as much as the people throw support behind beef and the fact that he loves it himself, it should not be allowed to get out of hand.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he noted that, “now the industry, I feel like we support negative energy. For example, No one will hype Amerado unless I have a beef with let’s say, Strongman. Why because they feel the beef makes the rap game stay strong”.
Citing Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz’ incident of almost throwing fists at the premises of TV3 days ago all as a result of the beef, he said, “But sometimes it’s healthy. I support it but sometimes too you have to have limits. For example Sista Afia and Freda. You have lyrical beef, you don’t go to the extreme and go and meet somewhere to fight. I know they are ladies but I feel like they should have done better. I love beef but it shouldn’t go beyond lyrics.”
