Actor John Dumelo has stated that even if the John Dramani Mahama decides to name his vice two days to the election, he will still win the elections.
He noted that the opposition is complaining about the John Mahama not naming a vice till now but they are yet to also make their presidential candidate known.
During an interview with BBC Pidgin, the Ayawaso West Wuogon candidate listed a list of infrastructural works dine by the NDC and added that NPP borrowed so much money but “what is there to show?”
“The people who are complaining, legally they don’t have a presidential candidate. NPP doesn’t have a presidential candidate as we speak. Even though they keep saying 4 more for whoever, they don’t have a presidential candidate.
“Yet they are worrying us about why we haven’t named our vice-presidential candidate. We could even name the candidate two days to the election and we’ll still win. That is not an issue.
Asked why he is so confident about his party winning, he noted that “honestly, people voted in 2016 for NPP because they said they were tired of NDC but as we speak right now they’re tired of NPP because that is not the change they voted for.
“So, if you look at all these things, I know that Ghanaians can see NDC is a better alternative than the NPP”.
