Rapper Strongman has lashed out at a Sarkodie fan for calling him ungrateful.
Since the ‘Transformer’ hitmaker parted ways with Sarkodie and the Sarkcess label, every now and then he is tagged ungrateful.
Blogger Kobby Kyei in a tweet said the music industry lacks transparency and that artistes would rather keep vital information that could help other artistes to themselves in order to succeed alone.
“The Ghana Music industry lacks transparency. Recognised Artist who have found a way to make money or trend in different regions don’t want to share the information because they feel they worked too hard to get there so why give out free information,” he tweeted.
A tweep replied saying Sarkodie is one of such “selfish” artistes who kept the keys to his success a secret.
“When you start this convo make sure put Sark in there. With all the platforms he got he didn’t create any access there for up n coming ones. He was selfish for his success n that’s a fact,” the tweep said.
However, the comment did not go well with a Sarkodie fan who came out to say having managed Strongman has taught Sarkodie a lesson and that no artiste should lend the up and coming artistes a helping hand ever again.
“A fool like you will later come and say that he was trying to steal the shine of the young ones. The lesson @StrongmanBurner taught us will never repeat itself, ungrateful young ones, No artiste should even bother himself to help any upcoming musician da!,” the SarkNative replied.
Strongman took offence at the tweet and stated that he is gratefulness adding that if he was actually ungrateful like is paraded, God should punish the Sarkodie fan.
“When you are asked what is Gratefulness? Don’t bother explaining just mention my name and you good to go.
If I’m ungrateful may God punish me. If I’m not ungrateful may God punish you and your entire generation. FOOL,” Strongman said.
