Musician Fameye has said the coronavirus has taught him that it is a necessity to plan ahead and prioritize needs.
The ‘Nothing I Get’ hitmaker noted that he would not have invested in some frivolous things like buying an iPhone Xs Max.
He added that saving is also a necessity so that in times like this, one would not be found wanting.
In an interview on United Showbiz last night, Nana Ama McBrown discussed the impact of the pandemic on their music career, finances and life in general.
After Kelvyn Boy mentioned that the coronavirus exposed how the Ghana Music industry largely depends on playing outdoor events to survive, Fameye also added his opinion and experience since the outbreak of the pandemic in Ghana.
“To me, it has made me realise that it is necessary to plan ahead. If we knew this was going to happen, I’d probably not buy iPhone Xs Max or land because we’ll die anyway so, next time we’re told of an outbreak, I would not be bothered. I would not waste my money on some things.”
“The first is to plan, the second is to save and put things in order,” Fameye noted.
