Information reaching ghanaweekend.com indicates that DJ Amess, the manager of missing Ghanaian artiste, Castro, has died.

Until his death, DJ Amess used to be a regular panellist on a lot of entertainment shows especially Anigye Mmre on Onua FM.

A few months ago, it was reported that he had been seriously ill.

In a series of WhatsApp chats shared by a Facebook User Kathy Solomon, DJ Amess reached out to her for financial support as he recounted the ordeal he went through when he fell ill.

DJ Amess, who was physically challenged said it all started when he felt pains in his legs and consequently broke him down.

He was initially admitted at Amen Scientific Herbal Clinic for treatment but reports say he passed away today at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

A few months ago, the artiste manager, in the WhatsApp chat, requested for GHS 500 from Kathy, a Brit who has been a friend to most entertainment people in Ghana.

The woman shared the screenshots on social media, stating that she can only offer prayers and not money.

DJ Amess did not come out to seek help from the general public but it is believed that a few industry people supported him behind the scenes.

DJ Amess who was seriously involved in the entertainment industry, had worked at Top FM, Multimedia Group Limited, Weekly Fylla Newspaper and Flex newspaper.
