Aspiring parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo has led a team to fumigate some selected churches and mosques across the constituency today.
After the president lifted the ban on services in churches and mosques as a way to ease the restrictions, it became necessary to make these places safe and void of infections.
In a tweet yesterday, he announced he would be embarking on the fumigation exercise and as promised, it was accomplished today.
Explaining why some churches were selected, he noted that “Some churches have decided not to open.”
This is because some churches feel it is not safe for no such gatherings yet and that it might just be the breeding ground for the coronavirus hence online services will continue to be held.
“We started fumigating the Mosques and some facilities in the Ayawaso West constituency today. Today let’s make Ghana a happy and healthy place to live,” John captioned the pictures from the exercise.
