I became irritating because Ghanaians felt I was coming to gain their love for Ebony without doing nothing – Wendy Shay

Wendy Shay has said the reason she has continuously come under heavy criticisms is that Ghanaians feel she wanted to take the late Ebony’s love.

Wendy Shay got signed to Rufftown Records and was introduced after the untimely death of Ebony Reigns.

It is not clear what exactly she did wrong but she is always offending social media with her posts and comments.

Whether it is just a picture of herself or a video or just her opinion, it seems to offend a lot of people who publicly attack her on social media.

Speaking to Miriam on 3FM, the ‘Kut It’ singer noted that Ghanaians felt she was just coming to dwell on Ebony’s glory without an effort.

“It’s because they felt like I wanted to gain their love for Ebony by force without not doing anything so I became irritating to them,” she said.
Adding that” I didn’t panic so much because I knew what I carried, I knew what I had in me and I knew that it’s gonna come to a time Ghanaians are going to appreciate my effort and my hard work and my talent my gift. So, I was just praying to God that the time will come and heal them from” the pain of losing Ebony when they were least prepared.

She, however, said she joined Rufftown Records because she was inspired by Ebony.
