Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay after two years of making hits and showing she has come to stay, plans to release a new album this year.
She, however, said all details about the album remains a secret until it is ready.
According to her, her team has got a lot planned for the year although the year is halfway through.
Speaking to David Mawuli on Instagram Live interview, she mentioned, “it’s part of the plan this year to do more collaborations, international collaborations, collaboration with topmost artistes all over Africa to push Afrobeats to the world. More ambassadorial deals coming up. More albums. This year, I’ll be releasing an album.”
A year ago, the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker released ‘Shay On You’, this year’s album “I want it to be a surprise,” she said adding that “the international collaboration too is gonna take y’all by surprise.”
