The self-acclaimed new face of Highlife, Patapaa has labelled some of his colleague artistes “soakings”.
He noted that lots of artistes do not write their own songs.
According to him, aside from Shatta Wale, there is no other artiste in Ghana that can be compared to him.
Speaking to Larry Bozzlz on TV Africa, he stated that most of the Ghanian artistes only make noise but their songs are not known in Germany.
“When we talk about being super, I am super,” adding that he makes songs that force people to sit and write down the lyrics.
He disclosed that if not for the ban on the social gathering, the songs he had in stock would have turned the whole place upside down.
“What I have in me, apart from Shatta Wale, the rest are insignificant. They claim to be musicians but they know nothing.
“They want somebody to write songs for them to sing, it’s f***ed up. Which means they don’t have the idea to make music.”
However, he refused to name names of the artistes he claims do not write their songs.
