Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay has disclosed she has learnt her lessons as far as answering questions is concerned.
In 2018, Wendy Shay went viral for snubbing MzGee and tagging her question a “dumb question” when she was asked to tell the world who she is.
Social media tore her apart while some people agreed she answered the question the best way she could.
Months later, she marks two years doing music since she came down to Ghana and she noted that she has no regrets but she has learnt a lot.
Speaking to David Mawuli of Pulse Ghana in an Instagram live chat, she was asked if she has regrets and would do things differently in her two years of achievement.
“I believe that everything that happens to me is for my own good, so everything that came my way, it was either an opportunity to learn or a big lesson to learn from so regrets, no but lessons learnt.
“And so many I can not even count them but definitely the one that I can boldly say it really shaped me or help me shape my emotional intelligence was the dump question from MzGee. That was the breaking point for me to learn- hey girl, you need to sit up and then work on how you’re going to answer questions. Work on how you control your emotions and all of that,” she stated.
“So, I’d say that interview was a breaking point for me to sit up,” she added.
