Bullet has learnt his lessons from dealing with artistes of different personalities and has advised himself against going straight to signing them to his label without doing some checks.
According to him, he has seen that “one thing with musicians is that, not everyone can be controlled.”
This comment comes on the back of the misunderstanding between Fantana and Wendy Shay who are both signed to his label although the latter’s deal is a 360 while the Former’s is not.
Speaking on United Showbiz, he stated that in cases such as this, he needed to carefully handle the issue in a way that it would not be misinterpreted that he was giving one artiste special treatment, he called for a meeting to settle the matter amicably but he realized not all artistes could be controlled.
He said that the misunderstanding is nothing serious to even start with but because it involved women and their emotions, it got out on to social media.
“So this time around, anybody who’ll be on my label will do a mental check to see if their brain is functioning properly, I ‘ll do criminal check. I’ll do a lot of things because if you’re not careful, one artiste will be your downfall,” adding that it will only put your sweat, blood and toil to waste.
When it was pointed to him that he seems to be supporting Wendy against Fanatana, he did not agree to it but finally said Wendy Shay brings the label more money.
