Ghanaian musician and Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation, Rex Omar has described Akoo Nana as an ignoramus who is craving for attention.
Also describing Akoo Nana as frustrated, uncivilised villager on GHOne TV, he said the ‘Shordy’ singer does not know anything about GHAMRO and what their work entails.
Rex Omar said GHAMRO has been audited by the Attorney General and that they always disburse royalties to musicians who have assigned their rights to the organisation.

“This is a frustrated guy who is looking for attention. If it wasn’t for this nonsense would you be even calling me this morning and showing it on your television? Who is Akoo Nana? He did the same thing to Obour. So what is he trying to say? This is an ignoramus, uncivilised villager who thinks he can just spew any rubbish,” he said.
Yesterday, Akoo Nana in a video on accused the GHAMRO Chairman, Rex Omar of embezzling the organisation’s money.

Akoo Nana’s rage was stemmed from allegations that Rex Omar has insulted the President, Nana Akufo Addo and alleged he had wasted money of a private jet.
He alleged that Rex Omar claims they don’t generate enough money for musicians but his salary is huge and has acquired properties from that.
