Nigeria’s comedian, Josh2Funny has explained that he is not claiming to have started the #DontLeaveMe challenge that has been trending on social media.
This comes after Ghana’s wordplay comedian, Ajeezay came out to say he started the trend which Josh is taking glory for.
According to him, he has been creating lots of trends and all sorts of talent oriented pieces and that he is not in to claim glory for starting this challenge.
Speaking to Melissa and Emmanuel Sarpongon Citi TV’s 30 minutes, he noted that nobody has thought of adding the catchy phrase or the use of a hypes man behind the camera and that he added style and “the uniqueness I put into it” is what has spiced what has been in existence since.
“What I created was the style,” he said.
“I never created pun,” he added.
Josh is known for a trend of singing songs off-key, wearing of dresses on sneakers. He later started wordplay which he usually ends with the phrase, “think about it”.
