After reports went viral that a Range Rover car which was gifted to broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah on her birthday bore a fake number plate, the Driver and Licensing Authority has responded with a press statement.
When the photo of the car surfaced a Twitter user by name @CitizenYao, by using a shortcode from the National Insurance Commission for checking car insurances, discovered that the number plate belongs to a Nissan Rogue vehicle which was registered on January 6, 2020, with expiration on January 5, 2021.
He, therefore, shared a screenshot from his fact-finding on Twitter.
