Musician Asem has advised Sarkodie and colleague musicians to make sure any diss song they are recording is a danceable tune before they release it.
In a series of videos in which he addressed his issue with Sarkodie, he stated that he is a wack rapper and his ‘Brown Paper Bag’ is ‘yawa’.
Explaining why he said the song is below standard, he said, “if you’re doing a song of this magnitude that you want to preach whatever message you want to preach, make sure the song, it is danceable”
“Because African people if they cannot dance to it, they don’t want it,” he added also noting that Sarkodie always does backdated songs.

Asem has been seen in his tweets and freestyles throwing jabs at Sarkodie at every given opportunity although the latter seems not to be giving him attention.
According to him, the misunderstanding is as a result of Sarkodie throwing a challenge on Twitter and as a hip hop artiste, he deemed it fit to take up the challenge and accept.
He noted that he was “poked” and anybody who pokes a “giant” as himself should be prepared for the repercussions.
In the heat of the ‘challenge’, Sarkodie released ‘Sub Zero’ which was speculated to be directed at Asem and some other musicians in the industry.
Asem said the song was wack.
Last week Sarkodie released a new song, ‘Brown Paper Bag’ featuring M.anifest and this Asem still described as “yawa”.
