Fans of artiste managers attack signees without knowing details – Strongman

Rapper Strongman has complained that fans do not usually do well with handling news of parting ways with their favourite manager.

He noted that after parting ways with the Sarkcess label,  fans still attack him every day on his posts on social media.

According to him, the artiste managers enjoy more while the artistes themselves suffer and when the relationship goes south, fans do just take sides with the managers against the artiste adding that he understands what Kelvyn Boy is going through.

He said the fans “all the time want to talk about stuff which they know nothing about”.

Speaking to NYDJ on YFM, the ‘Transformer’ rapper said like every organization, within the two years he was on the label there were some troubles but the decision to leave was discussed and understood.

“I felt like I needed to leave the label due to one or two reasons so I told Sark I wanted to leave and he said I should come home so we talk about it. When I went home we all talked about it and we draw a conclusion that I’m supposed to leave,” he said.

“For troubles, no matter whatever you do in this world so far as it’s an organization, there’ll be trouble but then basically the fans don’t understand what is happening so all the time they make the signees look bad and those who sign us are always the people enjoying.”

He believes the reason some of these artistes like himself suffer in the hands of the fans is that their managers are still actively doing music.

Citing Mzvee as an example, he pointed out that she has not had any kind of backlash with fans of her former manager, Richie because he is not active in the music scene anymore.

“Anytime I post, if I should get a hundred comments which are bad, it’s obvious. Even as at now I’ll get like 98 per cent of those people you’ll still go and check their profile and Sarkodie to the bone and whatever so sometimes it makes the signees to feel bad. All the times you have something at heart already, which we just show the flashy side of the signing to the people and they don’t know what really goes on into how you were signed because we’ve gone through a lot. I for instance if I’m supposed to talk, I can talk like a fullscap sheet but I decided not to even say anything since I left,” he recounted.
