Ghanaian musician Edem has set a release date for his long-awaited EP, ‘Mood Swings’ on July 24 this year.
He explains it projects his mood every day or his versatility and the fact that he cannot be put in a box that defines all artistes.
In a video in which he announced the EP, he noted that: “It took me a very long time to understand myself as a creative and an artiste.
‘Mood Swings’ is this project where I’ve fully come out of my shells to accept that I’m not like everybody else. I can’t be a Hip Hop artise every day, I can’t be a reggae artiste every day, I can’t be a dancehall artiste everyday. But what I can be is that I have creative mood swings and whatever I feel like doing it every point in time, I head out and do it so, the intent of this project is to show people all the different mood swings I have as an artiste and hope that they get to understand and accept me for being outside the box that they put everybody in.”
