Musician Stonebwoy has revealed that Bright of defunct Buk Bak group gave him the chance to appear on television for the first time.
Aside from the popular story of Samini being Stonebwoy’s helper, the ‘Motion’ singer noted that some other people including Bright have been of tremendous help in his career.
Stonebwoy was speaking to Nana Ama McBrown on the United Showbiz where he narrated his career journey, listed his helpers and talked about life growing up.
Touching on people who played a part in his growth, he said “Many are the people who helped in my journey…I remember BukBak Bright put me on TV for the first time and Kwaw Kese featured me first and aside from that my movements with my boys on the side, I played mainstreams and Samini, if you watched his Sweet Mistake video, he gave me two seconds passing through before Climax video which was released in either 2011/12” adding that Samini planned on outdooring him on some platforms but those did not come on.
