Rapper Sarkodie believes the reason people think of him as a member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) is that they make use of his songs at their events.
The artiste has always been tagged an NPP member because of his strong political opinions all the time.
The NPP Saturday, June 26, 2020, held a special National Council meeting at the Alisa Hotel in Accra where Nana Akufo-Addo was acclaimed the flagbearer of the party and he appointed the vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate for the upcoming elections.
At the event, they repeatedly played Daddy Lumba’s ‘Nana Winner’ and Sarkodie featuring Prince Bright’s Oofeetso throughout the programme.
Sarkodie who has been in mandatory quarantine in the hotel with his family since his return to the country last week shared videos from his window’s view.

The second video, he captioned, “Power de sweeeeeet 3ba no sei aa y3 de “Honorable Aba.”
