Musician Sarkodie has thrown his weight behind the petition to scrap medical bills for victims of sexual assault; rape and defilement.
He made this known in a tweet when he commented on actress Ama K Abebrese’s petition post.
“Victims of rape, sexual assault and defilement have to pay between 300 – 800 GHS ($45-$160) in Ghana before a medical examination can be done to pursue justice. These fees should be abolished. Can you help by signing this petition?,” Ama K Abebrese tweeted.
“I endorse,” Sarkodie replied with the peace sign and 100 percent emoji to reiterate his point.
