Socialite Mona Faiz Montrage who is popularly known as Hajia4real through her lawyers have asked Chairman Wontumi to retract his statement and render unqualified apology within a 24-hour ultimatum.
This comes on the back of NPP Chairman Wontumi making claims on the radio that ex-president Mahama’s brother, Ibrahim Mahama snatched Mona from Kenpong and bought her a car and mansion as a birthday gift.
Last weekend, Mona celebrated her birthday at to crown it, she threw a plush party which was graced by notable figures.
Among the people seen at the event was Mr Ibrahim Mahama who was seen dancing with Shatta Bundle and posing for pictures with the celebrities.
In a video that was shared on Instagram, the birthday girl flaunted a range rover and said, Happy birthday to me; new car, new house, new me.”
Word got out about her birthday gifts and Chairman Wontumi sat on the radio to make claims about who got the items for her.
Reacting to the claims, Mona’s lawyers have denied everything said, noting that they are “false and defamatory remarks” and therefore they demand a retraction and apology.
Mona shared the press statement from her lawyers to her Instagram page adding that she will fight it on her behalf and for other women who suffered the notion that women cannot afford success all by themselves.
