Actress Akwapem Poloo has again apologized to Ghanaians and everyone who felt offended by her nude birthday post.
Addressing the issue in an Instagram video after backlashes on social media, she noted that “I’ve not been myself and the sadness is really eating me up” adding that this will not repeat itself.
She also said she “regretted posting it” and that Ghanaians should forgive her.
To mark her son’s seven-year birthday celebration, the actress posted a picture in which she posed naked in front of her son explaining it was an artistic piece to send a message to kids not to leave parents in dejected situations.
But people did not agree with her. Some even called for her to be arrested and dealt with even after she took off the post and apologized.
Her son pleaded with Ghanaians as well, saying his mom is a “good person” who should be forgiven.
