The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Ayawaso West Wuogon candidate, John Dumelo has taken it upon himself to educate his constituents on the centres made available for the voters’ registration.
He encouraged constituents to go out and get registered for new Voters identification which allows them to vote in December.
In a video shared to his twitter, he listed the centres as well as advice the eligible persons to observe the COVID-19 protocols to stay safe while being patriotic citizens.
The registration which started on Tuesday, June 30 will be ending on August 6 2020.
The registration is done in phases to allow people to get registered.
Some of the new centres for registration in Ayawaso West Wuogon for this week includes GIMPA, Abelenkpe JHS, Roman Ridge School, Legon Hall, Saba Hall, Methodist Church- Dworwulu, among others.

Per the Supreme Court’s ruling last weeks ago, only a Ghana Card or Ghanaian passport or will make a person eligible to the registration.
According to the EC, over 44,000 people have been recruited to help facilitate the registration and to ensure safety in this period of the coronavirus pandemic, 7,000 health personnel have been made available to the cause across polling stations while 8,000 voters biometric kits have also been deployed for use on the field.
Also, 5, 000 technicians will assist with the registration process.
