Musician, Mzbel has disclosed that she tried to nurture two talents who came to her but she pulled the plug on it when she found out they did not want to associate with her brand although they needed her help.

She noted that she felt heartbroken when they told her they did not want people to know she was the brain behind them.

The 16 years hitmaker said this in an interview with Frema Adunyame and Ato Kwamina adding that “If you need help and you come to me and say you need help, there’s a way I’ll help but if you come to me and say I wanna do music, I feel like you believe in my musical career.”

“The heartbreaking thing is that two of them said to me that it looks like people don’t like you so is it possible that you release us and put us out there like do everything you are supposed to do to make us famous but don’t let anybody know that you are the one behind us.

When Frema asked her how she felt about it, she replied, “It broke my heart and I told them that I thought you believed in me. I thought you loved me. I thought you loved everything about me that’s why you came to me. I didn’t know that you needed help.”

She, however, added that “they are amazing singers, trust me. They are on social media but they get one like two likes here and there but they sing very well and I wish them well. I let them go.”
