Actress Yvonne Nelson is advising people against going out to do voter’s ID card despite the coronavirus pandemic.
This comes on the back of the Electoral Commission going ahead to register eligible voters even though the major COVID-19 precautionary measure is to stay home and practice social distancing.
Prior to the registration, the president cautioned people to stay at home especially if they have nothing doing in town.
Taking to Twitter, the actress noted that the politicians do not care about the electorates and that risking their lives is not worth it.
According to her, “this election won’t change anything in your life” adding that “joining crowded queues endangers your life.”
“Politician: stay home, stay safe ~ people: ok ~ Politician: go out and register ~ people: ok ME: the politician doesnt care about you, use your common sense, this election wont change anything in your life, joining crowded queues endangers your life,” she tweeted.
