Some people will never like me and I don’t give a damn - Delay

Ghanaian broadcaster Delay has confirmed there are people who will never like her.

This comes hours after Afia Schwarzenegger stated on Citi TV’s Upside Down show that Ghanaians do not like her and some notable women including Delay.

According to Afia, people don’t like these women because they are outspoken and strong.

She added that Ghanaians admire foreigners with these traits.

“Ghanaians, we adore confident women, strong women, outspoken women if they come from another country. Ghanaians don’t like me because I am confident and I’m strong. They don’t like Nana Aba Anamoah because of the same thing. They don’t like Delay because of the same thing. They don’t like Lydia Forson. So, who is perfect here?” she quizzed.

“They like Gifty Anti now because she is now old. They never liked her. While growing up, the stuff we used to hear about her was unprintable,” she added.

Taking to twitter this morning, Monday July 13, Delay who is known for her strong personality noted that although some people will never like her, she does not concern herself with the thought.

“Some people will never like me and I will never give a damn,” she tweeted alongside her picture.
