Actor Lilwin has said Akwaboah is the future of the music industry.
According to him, Akwaboah writes sensible songs which will stand the test of time adding that when Akwaboah writes songs for other artistes, the songs go farther than his.
He said when his generation is in their 80s, Patapaa’s kind of songs will not be the choice of songs to listen to.
“Akwaboah writes as well as sing songs but the songs he writes for people hit more than his. That’s his job.
“Akwaboah is future Amakye Dede or Lumba. When we age, we wouldn’t listen to songs from artistes like Patapaa,” he said in an interview on Bryt TV.
He also noted that Kofi Kinataa does good songs as well.
