Artiste Medikal has disclosed that like anybody else, he had to sell phones and do all kinds of hustles to make ends meet.
The musician who is known for the tagline, “how much be you too much money” and all kinds of lines about money, noted that he did not have it easy on his journey to fame.
During an interview on Kwaku Manu’s Aggressive, he said, “At some point, the money to use to buy gari and sugar I didn’t have. My mom also didn’t have so I had to depend on my friends. At some other point, I sold phones in Circle. I slept under Kaneshie Bridge for three weeks. But music side, Waddle introduced me to Ghanaians.”
He also debunked claims that he used Sister Derby to gain his status.
According to him, he was “okay” prior to meeting her and that “I was driving a Mercedez Benz” at the time they met.
