America based Ghanaian film maker, Leila Djansi has advised church goers to ditch any church that uses fear to to keep them.
This comes on the back of man of God, David Oyedepo’s message on tithing.
According a tweet on the minister of God’s twitter handle, financial curse befalls children of God who do not pay tithe.
Reacting to the message, Leila in a Facebook post noted that “The reason Africans embraced European religion was that traditional religion was very stringent. Human sacrifices, instant punishment… Christians came to preach grace” adding that “The entire Christian religion is ruled by fear”.

“Seriously, what kind of God, in the middle of a pandemic when money is tight, will punish you for not paying tithe?
Please, leave any church that uses FEAR to keep your butt in the seat!
The reason Africans embraced European religion was that traditional religion was very stringent. Human sacrifices, instant punishment… Christians came to preach grace. GRACE of God. Today, a pastor is telling you if you don’t pay tithe, you’re cursed?? Where is the grace?
The entire Christian religion is ruled by fear! Demons are hurting my life, but yet the bible says when Christ died, he took power away from demons.
Single women have spirit husbands. A woman can’t have an erotic dream in peace again. But a man can wake up with an erection, and that one is fine. He doesn’t have a spirit wife. It is only the woman who has a spiritual husband cos her body is craving for something very, very natural.
You can’t be hungry and dream about food. You must be a witch for eating in your dream.
FEAR.
Instead of being productive at your job, you leave work early to go to church, to pray for your country to grow, and for your leaders to be less corrupt. Why didn’t you stay at work and be productive? Why aren’t you doing your job “as unto Christ?”
Zuckerberg began Facebook as a fun game to rate girls (your pastor would have told you that’s a sin), today, Zuckerberg is worth 88billion, his children bear a combination of his wife and his last name and, your pastor is here on Facebook.
And Zuckerberg doesn’t tithe. He gives to world-changing causes.
Emancipate your mind from religious slavery. Stop following charlatan pastors who use your fear for wealth. Know God for yourself.”
