Mother of Castro, Lydia Tagoe has denied claims of knowing or ever taking money from lawyer Ampaw.
Last week on Onua FM, Lawyer Ampaw stated that he met Castro’s mum, Lydia Tagoe, in a poor state when he visited her.
According to him, after Castro went missing the mother now looks miserable since she was depending on him until the unfortunate incident and that he had to give her money.
However, Lydia Tagoe was called to respond to the claims on radio and she denied knowing the lawyer or even meeting with him.
“I am not hungry. I am not lacking. I have never seen him before. I don’t know if he’s fair or dark. He hasn’t brought me no money,” she said adding that she does not take gifts from strangers.
She further cleared the air saying Asamoah Gyan never bought her a car neither has he given her money.
“I want to say this to the hearing of all Ghanaians: Asamoah Gyan has not given me 100 billion and he hasn’t bought me no car. Since the incident, I’ve not seen him. His brother, father, I’ve seen no one of them,”
