Flaunting of achievements and one’s belongings or properties on social media has almost become a norm that when someone does not showcase theirs, they are counted amongst those who do not have.
Showcasing one’s achievement is more like a challenge between celebrities. Every now and then one wants to outdo the other in material things they have to their name.
And if they have to fake it, so be it.
However, there is another group who criticize and troll people for flaunting their lifestyle on social media.
Actress Moesha Boduong has pleaded with such critics to cut them some slack when people like herself come online to celebrate her achievements.
In an Instagram post, she noted that some people are forced to toil for their own wealth since there is none to inherit.
“Some of us are forced to create our own wealth because we have no inherit from. We are also fighting battles our parents never won so bear with us if we celebrate the little things we achieve,” she posted.
