Media person Serwaa Amihere has asked Ghanaian celebrities and socialite to condemn the barbaric act of killing Akua Denteh.
She noted just like they condemned and seek justice on social media and in the streets for George Floyd who was murdered in Minneapolis, same should be extended to the old woman.
The 90 year old Akua Denteh was lynched in Kafaba a town near Salaga on allegations of being a witch.
Taking to Twitter, Serwaa said, “We saw a lot of Ghanaians especially celebrities and socialites speak up and condemn the George Floyd killing. Where are they in this KAFABA inhumane and gruesome killing?”
“Ghanaian lives matter too!” she added.

Social media has began signing petitions and condemning the act but seems not loud enough.
