Some female celebrities have expressed their displeasure about an interview Berla Mundi did with a rape victim.
The victim was a guest on Berla’s show, ‘The Day Show’ where she talked about her experience with a policeman at the age of 16.
The victim narrated the story in a way that made the audience in the studio laugh and giggled.

Reacting to the show, Musician Stephanie Benson took to Twitter to complain about how Berla responded to the victim as well as the audience’s response.
“A Girl talking about a violent Rape like a comedy show. An Emotionless Presenter Responding to Rape Victim like they re talking about a Bad Film. If that wasn’t bad enough a fucking laughing Audience. What the Hell is wrong with society. God Forgive Us,” she tweeted.

The tweet got the attention of Efia Odo and Sister Deborah who also showed their displeasure with the way the show was done.
Efia Odo noted that it tells how Africans do not take issues of rape seriously.
“The host of the show couldn’t take a few seconds to speak to the audience and tell them that this is no laughing matter ? Goes to show how we Africans don’t take rape serious,” she said in her tweet.

For Sister Deborah who has had a misunderstanding with Berla on Twitter concerning marriage also added that Berla is a “pick me squad member” and that she is sure Berla was tempted to ask what the girl was wearing on the day.
“Someone who insisted on making a whole interview with me on live television about me being against another woman, instead of exposing the guilt of a man in question when I was only there to promote my EP. I’m sure she was even tempted to ask what the girl was wearing,” she tweeted.
