Ghanaian music producer and owner of Highly Spiritual record label, Kaywa has responded to a post made by one of his ‘prodigal’ sons, Kurl Songx.

Kurl Songx has posted on his IG page, celebrating the virtues of his former boss, assuring fans that the rift between them would be solved and asking people to share the post till Kaywa saw it.

Speaking to Kaywa on Citi FM, he told Kwame Dadzie that even though he had not read the post, he had been informed about it.

According to Kaywa, he has forgiven Kurl Songx for all the insults, mudslinging and ungrateful attitude he showed him a few months ago.

Asked if he would want to take Kurl Songx back, if he asks for it, he alluded that he would not want to commit a mistake he did in the past.

He also intimated that forgiving someone of their wrongdoing does not mean you should have them back into your life again.

“I am not the only person who runs the label. It’s a whole team and that I won’t just look at somebody’s post and make a decision. Perhaps I have done that in the past and it didn’t go well with me,” he said.

“It is not coming back to my label that is necessary. I am not sure he wants to come back to the label. I am sure he is doing this because he has realised that it is important to do this,” he added.

Kurl Songx was introduced to the music scene by Kaywa, after he won the MTN Hitmaker.

Kaywa recorded and promoted his songs included the smash hit ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ which featured Sarkodie.

Later, he had issues with the label, claiming they did not pay attention to him like they should.
