Ashanti Regional Chairman, Wontumi has compared Ghanaian music videos to that of Nigerians.
According to him, the artistes have improved so much that the videos are of international standard.
He made this comment while commending Shatta Wale’s feature with Beyonce.
“Nowadays if take a look at the music videos, I am unable to tell the difference between the American and Ghanaian video clips. Ghanaians have advanced,” he said in an interview on Wontumi TV/ radio.
“If you compare the Ghanian clips to the Nigerian’s. I’d say they are equal,” he added.
Beyonce featured Shatta Wale on ‘Already’ which is one of the videos that made it to her ‘Black Is King’ film that was released on to Disney + on Friday.
The video has been the talk since its release. A lot of people have expressed how much they have been impressed while others are merely concerned about whether or not Beyonce actually came to Ghana to shoot.
